all things that fascinate kids...

Math in History

 

      
   
People throughout history have used math to solve problems and make their lives easier. We’ll use catapults, marshmallows and lasers to discover that the Kings and Queens of the Renaissance, like the Egyptians and Greeks, and pioneers used math to figure things out!!

Program requirements:

  • One table, access to electricity, wireless lavaliere mic if available
  • Open space, children sit on the floor
  • Students who need a "math/history excitement" boost
  • Staff to take that excitement and use it the rest of the day!

Note:

  • Highly Contagious Assemblies are so interactive and grade specific.
    T hey work best in grade specific groups (i.e. upper elem./lower elem.)
  • Programs are 45 minutes in length, up to 4 programs - same day.
