Who
is she?
Marcey
Walsh is a professional speaker and a consultant for school
districts around the United States. She writes about education,
adolescence, reality and family life in her column Extreme
Reality. She has been in business since 1989 helping educators
reach ALL their students with a kinesthetic approach to
any subject area and now shares these easy to apply concepts
with parent and mentor groups.
Marcey Walsh
has helped
parents, educators and mentors successfully share their
wisdon and skills with young people since 1989. She has
been speaking about teaching and parenting techniques,
learning styles, current brain research and SUCCESSFUL
communication with kids (and ourselves!) to get us through
transitions in this life alive and happy. If you want

information. This graduate of the Pennsyvania State University
(Go Nittany Lions!) has a background in education from

Marcey has
been involved in education since 1959. Really! After completing
her experiential research at the age of 21, she continued
with reality based research in classroom teaching, parenting
and world travel. (OK, Do the math on her age). She has
survived parenthood, New Math, redistricting, menopause,
hiking the Grand Canyon and the Alps and getting 15 year
old boys into tights*.

producer of the Michigan Youth Theater, a Shakespearean
troupe of teens :-)
Criss crossing
the country from Pennsylvania to Florida, Ohio, Missouri
and finally Michigan, her experience spanned public, private,
charter and home education, forging her unique view point
on lifelong learning and successful education in spite
of the circumstances.
Marcey then
went on to earn her "Masters in Reality" with
a major in Parent/Child Relationships. Since 1983 she
has worked full time as an educational performer and education
consultant and, since 2000 as a professional speaker.
She is the founding producer of the Michigan Youth Theater
and a contributing member in the local professional speakers
chapter in Michigan, Optimists International and is a
Professional Member of the National Speakers Association.

by personal, hands on experience of working with over
40,000 kids each year and her problem solving work with
