Staff Development/Conference Sessions

Your teachers will take away interactive, learning styles based
activities and demonstrations they can use in their classrooms tomorrow!

Teachers will learn simple techniques to develop a
kinesthetic approach, that makes scientific principles (in fact any subject)
easy to understand for EVERY student in the class.

One hour to 3 hour sessions available onsite or for conference break out sessions. CEUs available*

Moving Kids to Learn - Science participants will:

  • List and describe the three primary learning styles
  • Recognize and identify student learning styles using: verbal cues and body language cues
  • Describe three variations on a learning activity to reach students with different learning styles
  • Develop a kinesthetic learning activity to address a personal teaching challenge in their classroom
  • Examine how kinesthetic components can increase scores on standardized tests.
  • Identify ways to use existing resources within their building to facilitate large motor activities.
  • Discuss the positive implications of integration of learning styles based teaching methods and pattern literacy on student performance in school and in life.
